Application of the front tracking method in micro flow measuring devices

چکیده
This work has the main objective to develop a calibration method for micro flow measuring devices based on front tracking principle, in Volume and Flow Laboratory (LVC) of Portuguese Institute Quality (IPQ), partnership with Department Mechanical Industrial Engineering (DEMI) The New University Lisbon under project MeDD II – Metrology Drug Delivery. experimental setup consists using camera Python software track distance traveled by meniscus liquid inside capillary tube calculate rate according appropriated equations. Experimental tests generator meter were carried out different rates. Two setups cameras specifications tested. To validate developed method, internal comparisons Nexus pump Sensirion performed gravimetric interferometric methods already implemented at LVC. results obtained these two consistent. new can therefore be used calibrate from 1000 ?L/h down 1 an uncertainty value 2% 7% (k = 2). procedure is easy apply both syringe meters. simple implement laboratory relatively cheap compared or method.
